Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Developer to support the development, maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of a large-scale enterprise application. The role involves Java/J2EE development, defect resolution, performance improvements, database work, and Agile/Scrum collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects.
- Implement enhancements, refactoring, UI, reporting, and performance improvements.
- Analyze requirements and create technical solutions/documentation.
- Collaborate with business users, architects, and technical teams.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and sprint activities.
- Use Azure DevOps for work tracking and development processes.
- Support knowledge transfer and application documentation.
Required Skills
- 10+ years: J2EE, Java, IBM DB2 UDB, Eclipse
- 1–3 years: eXPRS application development
- State government experience within the last 5 years
- Strong enterprise application development experience
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Compensation: $75.00 per hour
