We are seeking an experienced Application Tester to support a large-scale enterprise information-sharing system. The candidate will be responsible for system testing, UAT, requirements validation, defect management, test automation, and maintaining automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test cases, scenarios, and test plans.
Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing.
Validate requirements and traceability matrices.
Test web services/APIs using SoapUI and Postman.
Create test reports and document defects using defect management tools.
Support defect investigation and resolution.
Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks and test suites.
Integrate automated testing with DevOps/CI/CD.
Perform data-driven automation testing and use Extent Reports.
Write complex SQL queries for database testing.
Collaborate with developers, testers, project managers, and stakeholders.
Prepare testing reports and presentations when required.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Technology, or related field.
5–7 years of software testing/QA experience.
Proficiency in Java or C# and knowledge of software design patterns.
Experience with NIEM XML or complex XML standards.
Experience with SOA technologies and web service testing.
Strong Microsoft SQL Server/SQL skills.
Experience with automation framework development and data-driven testing.
Knowledge of Extent Reports, Git/GitHub, and DevOps.
Experience with IBM Rational Jazz Suite is a plus.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM with telework available and occasional in-person meetings

Compensation: $45.00 per hour
